Thanks to the Peoples’ Postcode Lottery our project received funding towards a sensory pathway and new play equipment. This has been added to by the generous donation from McCarthy and Stone of a garden makeover worth £5,000.
This will enhance our sensory garden, provide additional climbing area and a seating area which will include a fire pit – just right for toasting marshmallows!

Paddy took her life in her hands for Fernheath Play by jumping out of a plane at a height of 10,000 feet in May this year. Fernheath Play has funding to deliver an inclusion project for children with disabilities. The funding will provide for some improvements to the playground, some equipment and staffing costs.

We are now open for after school childcare from 3pm to 5.45 pm. Currently we pick up from St Walburga’s Primary School ( a £1.50 pick up charge applies ) and from Heathlands Primary Academy. As part of the ongoing fundraising effort, Fernheath Play is inviting volunteers to make a skydive on the 29th May 2016.
