New Exercise Class with Creche!

The Playful Families Project begins… West Howe families can enjoy a new two year project funded by the People’s Health Trust which aims to bring people together to experience new activities at a low cost. The first activity will be an exercise class  with a creche starting on the 12th of October at 11 am…


Thanks to the Peoples’ Postcode Lottery our project received funding towards a sensory pathway and new play equipment.  This has been added to by the generous donation from McCarthy and Stone of a garden makeover worth £5,000.

This will enhance our sensory garden, provide additional climbing area and a seating area which will include a fire pit – just right for toasting marshmallows!

Paddy reaches new heights!

Paddy took her life in her hands for Fernheath Play by jumping out of a plane at a height of 10,000 feet in May this year. Thanks to our generous sponsors every foot of the descent was worth just over £1! The sponsorship donations raised £5,985 plus an extra £5,000 in matched funding – making…



As part of the ongoing fundraising effort, Fernheath Play is inviting volunteers to make a skydive on the 29th May 2016. Led by our chair of Trustees, Paddy Williamson, who will be making the jump, we hope jumpers will raise a target of £400 each to support Fernheath Play. Apart from £50 initial deposit payable…


We have a new sensory garden!

A very big THANK YOU to a 2nd group of young people from the BCHA / NCS project who helped to refurbish the climbing frame and continue work on creating our sensory garden. You all worked very hard in very difficult weather conditions and should be very proud of your achievements. Well done.

Winton Waitrose Green tokens raise £230!
